If you’re one of the many students who travel far and wide from the country to study in Limerick, it’s likely you’ll be staying down for the weekends. Let us help you familiarise yourself with the city and the best places to treat yourself to a nice shopping. Whether you’re window shopping or looking for the best new outfits, you’re spoiled for choice in Limerick!                                                 

O’ Connell Street has been the backbone of the city for centuries and boasts a variety of shops from end to end and side to side. Cruises Street and William Street are also full with many shopping options. ‘Fashion Quarter’ is the area around Thomas Street, Catherine Street and Roche’s Street because of it’s amount of boutiques. Why not stop in for a coffee or some lunch too, as there is some lovely cafes around the area. Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre is a nice simple place to go if you’re looking for somewhere quick with some good options. It is located in the heart of the city too, so don’t be surprised if you end up there. Though not quite in the city centre about two miles outside, you’ll find the Crescent Shopping Centre. It is the biggest and most successful shopping complex outside of Dublin. People from all over Limerick and counties nearby tend to travel into the Crescent. If you need something, you’ll certainly find it there!
